Not just introduced, but passed and sent to our governor, Ricky Perry. Our legislature will be gone in May; they don't come back into session until Jan. 2015. By then, it will be too late. Our legislature can hold a special session and in 2011, did so which extended the time before they closed up the candy store. That isn't going to happen without massive heat put on them. I know Second Amendment advocates plan rallies in all 50 states this month. But, what is their plan? Stand outside, make yet another speech on "protecting our Second Amendment rights" and hold signs? How many decades have folks been doing just that with zero results? One of our four bills is to reconstitute the constitutional militia. I do not exaggerate when I say our very survival depends on it. One would think militia groups in this state would support such a bill, but no takers so far. One man who belongs to a militia group in this state I exchanged email with said: "I don't trust Rick Perry. He is a traitor who tried to scam us with his plan to give away our highways and then charge us to drive on them as toll roads. The state needs to leave the Texas Militias alone. If the state passes any militia law they will try to harm them. Militias need to operate on the independent cell group principle (not by any centralized command) or they can be compromised." I don't trust Rick Perry either, but he's not the one to write the bill. That man has ZERO understanding of the history of the militia or "security of a free state" contained in the Second Amendment. He also doesn't seem to comprehend his militia group has no legal teeth. As for being an 'independent cell group', this isn't the old days of Francis Marion aka the Swampfox. This is a damn dangerous and deadly time in this country, so wake the hell up, fella. I politely recommended he read Dr. Edwin Vieira's series on True v False Militia and Why It's Important. Never heard back from him because I'm sure he simply read my email, hit the delete key and went back to being Mr. Know It All. A Band Aid bill in the senate for an opt out for 'smart' meters where the rate payer will be fined big time to pay for the unlawful actions of TDSPs like ONCOR and Center Point. You have to go sign up at your state legislature's main page to get email alerts for committees and bills so you know what is being done to YOU at the state capitol. The political games are underway and we if do not make our demands known, we the people will be left at the mercy of the evil doers executing our demise. We have to get their attention for the four bills because they affect every man, woman and child in this state. Numbers get the attention of legislators. One person sending a letter will get a form letter back in a couple of months. A letter with thousands of signatures attached gets their attention. I have prepared a two page letter that will go to every Republican member of our legislature; house and senate. It is controlled by Republicans. If you read my recent column: Voters Educate the Elected, you know my friends and I were at the state capitol two almost two weeks ago and why. Thelma, Nick and I are collecting signatures to attach to that letter I will mail to all of them along with the nine page presentation by Dr. Edwin Vieira, to the Montana banking committee a few years ago. One of the bills is a constitutional sound money bill that is critical, yet no one in our legislature is even talking about it. James White, who serves in the House here in Texas has written a bill: H.B. 568: The Texas Self Sufficiency Act. The bill is to evaluate what would happen if the General Government defaults and no more borrowed money comes in from Washington, DC. That's good. But, it does not address the disabilities of our monetary system and what IS going to happen when the "Fed" implodes and the dollar isn't worth a handful of Texas dust. The same applies to every state in the Union. Lots of work has gone into this and now I need your help. I wrote the Working Papers, one of the bills and gathered all the exhibits into one place. I'll do the printing and mailing and pay for it, but we need signatures. If you live here in Texas, have family in Texas or just know someone in this state, please open the attachment and read the two page letter. There is a signature page after the letter.
