Asked by Fox News’ Bret Baier why Ambassador Chris Stevens was in Benghazi when he knew that security was untenable, Senator Graham answered… “Because that’s where the action was regarding the rising Islamic extremists who were trying to get their hands on weapons that are flowing freely in Libya. We were desperately trying to control the anti-aircraft missiles, the MANPADS [Man-portable air defense systems] that were all over Libya, that are now all over the Mideast.” Graham’s interview has opened another window into the Benghazi assault and subsequent cover-up. He categorically blames President Obama – the Commander in Chief – for the death of Ambassador Stevens. ++Conservative news networks are exposing the truth. WND.com is also reporting that they have “filed numerous reports quoting Middle East security officials who described the mission in Benghazi as a meeting place to coordinate aid for the rebel-led insurgencies in the Middle East, including the transfer of weapons to rebels.” Senator Graham has led the charge in the Senate calling for a full investigation – but his requests, at this point have fallen on deaf ears in that Democrat-controlled chamber. That’s why, as I wrote yesterday, Graham is taking his case to the House, as was also reported by Fox News this week... “And my Democratic colleagues in the Senate have shown no interest in getting to the bottom of Benghazi. If this were Bush, they'd be all over it.” “To my House colleagues, please, for God's sake, step up your game when it comes to Benghazi. You have tools I don't because I'm in the minority party in the Senate. The Democratic senators have given the president a pass when it comes to Benghazi.
