In the last week or so, I made some bold statements.
Surprisingly, I got little flak.
1. We are in a post-Constitutional
era.
2. POTUS has defied Congress re Benghazi, the NSA and IRS scandals
3. Immigration law is written by Congress only and it must by uniform.
4. All 3 branches of the fedl govt have been corrupted, maybe beyond repair.
2 wrongs do not make a marriage Right
The media took a day off to honor a Court decision in favor of same sex
marriage.
It is one of those great
divisive issues that defy compromise. These issues are hard to argue
because everyone is set in their ways.
To affect real change, you don't attack your opponent or his/her beliefs.
You discuss the issues in other terms like similar past efforts, humanity and
the law.
Mark Levin discusses dare I say, a less controversial issue, illegal
immigration.
Note how he forms his views without opinion. (He argues from a base of
undeniable facts.
In contrast, a bunch of unruly demonstrators prevented a vote by the texas
legislature
on this very same issue. Their victory was short lived.
No sooner did the session end, and the Guv set July 1 for a special session to
vote on the issue. Worse yet, the legislators have a first-hand opinion of
these out-of-control citizens.
