Hi everyone,
I have a question that's been bothering me for awhile. I
have my Arab at home, and have about 5 miles of trail all
together. It's rough, with lots of steep hills, but also a
ton of flat that we play Kentucky Derby on. Here's the
question. I still have 8 months to go till the 50 miler I
want to compete in is being held. Is the amount of trail I
have, ridden 3-4 times a week realistically enough to get
him in condition for a 50? I DO NOT plan to get out there
and race. I just want to be able to finish with Scott still
in good health. Any and all comments and suggestions will
be much appreciated.
