I have had excellent luck and have 5 of them.  I have not done many 50's,
but many days of  horse camping/  I find the saddles very well made and
balanced; I like the stirrups moved back 2".  The skito pad is essential,
and they make one especially for the sport saddle.  I have ditched the silly
felt cinch and stirrups, and use a neoprene cinch and flexride stirrups
[EMAIL PROTECTED] makes lovely custom fitted sheepskin covers for
them,which make them more cushy and less slippery.
