Hmmm. I may have been guilty of breed blindness. <g> I was looking mostly at Dutch stallions. Perhaps it's time to start looking at Trakehner also...
One of my reguirements for the stallions will, rightly or wrongly, be height. I can ride a "short" horse in endurance. Under 15 hands is fine. But for a person my size, a short horse combined with my size doesn't present the pleasing picture that is oh so necessary in open dressage competition. So my stallion prospect must be 16+ as the mare is breeding is "only" 15.1 >From: Truman Prevatt <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> >Reply-To: [EMAIL PROTECTED] >To: "Snodgrass, Bonnie" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> >CC: 'Tamara Woodcock' <[EMAIL PROTECTED]>, [EMAIL PROTECTED] >Subject: Re: [RC] Warmbloods in endurance? >Date: Wed, 03 Apr 2002 07:29:40 -0500 > >You could ask Jim Barnett.
