I got a phone call from Debra (Morissette) Ivey's husband. Debra was the 100 mile national champion in 1990 and 1993 on her mare Vali-hifazeyna (valli).
Talked for quite a while. turns out Valli and (Debra) took time off in the mid 90' s and Valli spent the time kinda standing around:) anyway, this year, after two 50s - (2 top 10 and 1 bc:) - they are off this week-end to look for Valli's 6000 career mile mark!!
