The bottom line, friends, is that if we have rules and fail to apply them fairly and consistently, just where does one draw the line? I have to say that wishy washy governance and bending to placate a complaning few in life in GENERAL :) is just drivign em nuts. Trying to teach one's youngsters the value of planning, understanding guidelines and going by them; NOT expecting one's self to be an exception to those rules; RESPECTING not only those who MAKE them, but others who LIVE by them - well, this is such a tough job as a parent, and I for one am grateful for ANY opportunity to provide incentive for MY children to be as good as their word, be responsible, promt, thoughtful and above all, fair in their dealings with others in organizations and in their private relationships. Thank you, AERC for setting an example we don't see too often - consistency and fairness.
