Its that time of year again! Time to get your priorities straight and do nothing but eat, sleep, and live for OD. The housework is on hold until the middle of June. If you are short on gas money to get there just don't pay your electric bill, not that I did that or anything... So which of you nut-jobs are going this year? I have Shadow, the crow-hopping wonder horse entered in his first 50. He'll be the one with his ears pinned flat the whole 50 miles (he only puts them up when he's sick). His dad, Jabar, is in the 50 too - he has several 50's but it will be his rider's first. We have 3 goals this year - complete, don't fall off, and don't puke. Actually, the falling and puking are OK if we still complete. We are trying the plastic shoes (Equi-flex) this year, Shadow has had them on for our one rat test this winter. So, if anybody wants to team up, I know the trail and have relatively sane horses, but I talk non-stop until I'm out of breath. When are you coming up, Howard? They have be er in Virginia, too.
