I've made these for myself (rope cross pulls) and I always use a ring that
the reins attach to that will not slide through the ring on the bridle. IMO
this is a manufacturing flaw in the bridle and should be repaired regardless
of how long you have waited. If the manufacturer is unwilling to fix it for
you take it to any saddle or shoe repair type shop. They should be able to
fix it for you. You may have to bring your own rings. But IMO it is still
the manufacturer's responsibility to fix your bridle.
