I used to use Show Sheen but now I use a human "leave-in conditioner" available at most grocery stores and pharmacies:  Infusium 23. Makes his mane silky soft, works as a great de-tangler and is not slippery like Show Sheen.   Of course, all the other geldings laugh at him 'cause he smells so pretty  ;-) Wendy
