We give out Volunteer T-shirts on our ride. They get them the day before, then they wear them the day of the ride. They are the same pattern on the front but say VOLUNTEER on the back. We always have them done in white. It's cooler for them and riders can see them better, and best of all they get so dirty so riders know how hard they work...Ha Ha!! Just kidding on the last part!
The other thing we do is have OFFICIAL T-shirts done also, usually in red or yellow. This way when a rider needs to complain is to someone that will listen and they leave the Volunteers alone (well, sort of).
