Well, I'm getting ready to buy new ones too. My favorite
pair were the ones made by mountain horse, I don't know
where they were made, but they have lasted me over 6 years.
They are finally falling apart. My problem is I where
riding shoes (state line tack shoes) and my new ones I
ordered didn't fit around the bottom of the shoe. I tried
Dublin (cheap, cheap cheap!!! Made in India!) and I
reordered the Mtn. horse, they have since changed the
design, they are now too tall and too tight around the
calf. So, it looks like I will be taking my old ones to a
saddlemaker/leatherworker and having new ones made for me.
I want zippers (velcro gets stuff in it!) and I want the
gussets in the calves. Is that too much to ask? :)
