Just wanted to point out to those that don't know; a lot of horses react very badly to oil based sprays on their skin. That's why the majority of commercial fly sprays are now water based. Oil will cause a chemical sort of burn and peel on many horses skin. I have had several horses like this. Skin-so-soft is mostly mineral oil (that's a petroleum product) and will "burn" many horses, even as little as 1/2 C. in a quart of water. Been there, done that. Skin-so-soft works primarily on mosquitos and knats anyway. I can add citronella oil safely to my sprays. I don't know if it's actually based in a vegetable based oil or mineral oil but a little goes a long way. Personally, I purchase gallons of the cheapest fly sprays out there based on pyrethrum (Bronco is very cheap) then I add citronella oil and a couple of other insect repellent plant oils. Make my own smelly batch at about $5 a qt.
