I tried glucosamine on 3 of my old fart retired endurance horses for 6 weeks and it didn't make any difference whatsoever - didn't see any lessening of stiffness or anything else. Doesn't mean that glucosamine doesn't work, just that it wasn't helping my particular horses for whatever reason. That was an expensive experiment, tho. They must mine the stuff on an asteroid and hire NASA to shuttle it down here.
