The ride will be FEI sanctioned, in a foreign country and of

sanctioning if a non-sanctioned event is held in conjunction

While I deplore the inclusion of the Master Series, the
financial boost from the sponsor does have a great
influence.
As for <<<FEI not being able to sanction a ride unless it

Canadians not Americans. So in th at instance the AERC has no
influence.

Subject: [RC] [RC] FEI Ride aka Masters Series
I have a question. According to AERC rules, can a separate
unsanctioned 75
mile ride be run in conjunction with an AERC sanctioned
event? I thought
that you couldn't do that? Also, wasn't there something
about FEI not being
able to sanction a ride unless it was AERC sanctioned? kThe FEI ride will be held on June 29th. It is part of theUAE sponsoredEndurance Masters Series. This series has a very largepurse to overallwinners in each region. I realize this is a verycontroversial topic butI
wanted all international or potential international ridersto be awarethat
this is a qualifier for PAC or Worlds. The latest FEIcriteria is that ahorse has to have done a Star 2 or 3 FEI ride at 12 km/h.This ride is aStar 2 and is 120 Km (75 miles). A star 3 is 160 Km (100miles). It is alot easier to do a Star 2 at 12 k/h than a Star 3. It is agreatopportunity to get your FEI qualifier. AERC seems to bevery opposed tothis series of rides and has refused to sanction thisdistance so it isnot
an AERC ride. I have also been refused advertising in a fewendurancepublications. So it will not be advertised in any otherform than this.I do not want to start any great debate about this seriesof rides I justwant to make all riders aware of this opportunity to getyour FEIqualifier.
