[RC] bridle ornaments

Do any of you remember the name of the lady over in the valley somewhere who made ornaments type things out of horsehair?  The valley being Central San Joaquin in California.  I think she was around Fresno, Clovis, or maybe as far north as Modesto.... Katee help me.....mb
