This was certainly one of the nicest trails I've been on lately. Good footing, lots of water, great scenery. Well laid out and well managed. Chris and Sharon and their families did a fine job marking and clearing the trails. The camp was a wonderful big grassy meadow. All together a great ride. Certainly a "Must Do" for next year.
On Friday, as an extra bonus, we were treated to a rare sky show, a full circle, double rainbow, around the sun. Suppose you can do this next time, too? Nice turnout of 25 and 50 mile riders, and good sized group of trail riders too. Only placings I'm sure of, Pat Gisvold and Bruce Murdock trotted in holding hands, Pat took first on a coin flip for the 50. Later, we sang Happy Birthday to Bruce's good mare SR Shabu, she turned 18 on ride day. =-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-= Ridecamp is a service of Endurance Net, http://www.endurance.net.
