I agree with Nina and Susan.  I was in the ring as a vet sec and there were a surprising number of horses who were one degree off in one leg.  The recheck was to be able to spend a little more time with each horse to evaluate it better, not to neccesarily keep you from starting, but to have a better handle on which horses might be watched closer.   Laura Hayes
