Hello, everyone. Are there anyone who have an idea for 'the resolution of the powder X-ray diffraction technique for lattice parameters of an crystallographic phase'? I know this question could be very stupid one. Nevertheless advice me please. Recently, I have gotten an XRD patterns which have been collected from a mixture of several phases well known. However when I tried to index all the peaks, some strange peaks have not been identified. The problem is from the fact that lattice parameters of the phases are very similiar and the unindexed peaks have occurred between the peaks from two phases. In other words, I have to decide if this unindexed peak is a real peak or just looks like a peak by overlapping. Wish your helpful advice. Thanks in advance Young Sang Na
