Hi, I have some Polaris data which I have been using with VMS GSAS, but I wanted to use chemical constrains so I transferred the data (as an ASCII file) to a PC. I tranferred two datasets: xray and neutrons, and PC GSAS reads (and refines) successfully the xray dataset. I can plot the neutron data with Rawplot, but when I tried to run a refinement, the time-of-flight scale changed (and also the d-spacing). I checked the diffractometer contants and they have the right values, and if I plot again the rawdata with rawplot the scales are right. But in the experimental file, the data range is 9.9999-13.0 instead of 4-18.5msec. I created another experimental file and this time powpref cannot process the neutron dataset. I got the message: run-time error M601:MATH-floating point error:invalid. How can I transfer Polaris data into PC GSAS? Can I use in PC GSAS data with this format: BANK 2 3118 780 RALF 128000 64 128064 0.00050 ALT 128000 335561 1756 128064 335536 1879 128128 335618 1880 128192 333237 1873 128256 335231 1879 128320 335609 1880 128384 340373 1908 128449 335324 1880 Thanks, Paz Vaqueiro E-mail:[EMAIL PROTECTED], [EMAIL PROTECTED] Heriot-Watt University Edinburgh, UK
