For the so-called "six-line" ferrihydrite (the more ordered one), there
are two widely accepted hexagonal structures:

Towe and Bradley, J. Colloid Interface Sci., 24 (1967) 384-392
Chukhrow et al., Izvest. Akad. Nauk., SSSR, Ser. Geol. 4 (1973) 23-33

For two-lines ferrihydrite (the least ordered), there is also a
reference:

Feitknecht et al., Helv. Chim. Acta 56 (1973) 2847-2856

However, some doubts about these structures have been risen more
recently and more complex structures have been proposed. For a whole
description, the best place to find information is the recent book of
Cornell and Schwertmann, "The Iron Oxides", VCH Weinheim (1996)

Hope this helps.
