Dear Riccardo (and everyone else),
Thanks for finding this "feature". The convergence criterion in GSAS that
most are familiar with is the limit on sum(shift/esd)**2 of 0.01. The "V"
option allows one to change this criterion. The value entered is an integer
power for this criterion. Thus the default is -2 so that the limit is
10**-2. It is probably only worth changing when one is dealing with a very
large refinement problem with 100's of variables. Given the state of the
code for this, I'm not sure this option has been fully implemented; I'll
check it out and fix it if needed.
