>Could somebody send me information about the structure of Ni2GeS4?
This is typically a case for which you need several databases
for solving it.
Nothing about Ni2GeS4 in ICSD nor in CRYSTMET.
The ICDD JCPDS database says (card 47-1583) that
Ni2GeS4 belongs to the CrEr2S4 structure type. But there
is no direct link to the reference of the paper containing
the atomic coordinates.
Going back to ICSD and CRYSTMET, the CrEr2S4
atomic coordinates are found in both databases.
Of course, I can't give them here because of copyrighting.
The reference may be obtained from the free access
IUCr online publications search engine :
Tomas, A., Chevalier, R., Laruelle, P. & Bachet, B. (1976).
Structure cristalline de CrEr2S4. Acta Cryst. B32, 3287-3289.
However, you do not obtain it if you use the CrEr2S4
formula as a keyword (that would be too simple !), you
have it only if you already know the author name...
Life is not that simple, even with databases.
