I have a bit more than 5 years archive. And here are the number of messages
when dbws/gsas/fullprof have been mentionned on the Rietveld mailing list:
DBWS : 38
GSAS : 910
fullprof: 257
I won't say more, since I mostly do structure solution, not refinement...
But number of messages are not a very good evaluation of the program's
friendliness: a lot of messages can both mean (i) that the program is popular
or (ii) that it requires a lot of questions asked to get it working !
