Dear Rietvelders,

I have a question about how to estimate particle/domain size from GSAS
refinement. The manual gives a very simple equation p=(DIFC)*K /
sqrt(8ln2*sig-2), saying that there is no instrument broadening for
sig-2, which I don't know whether it's right or not because in the
instrument file sig-2 is not zero. My question is some peaks cannot be
identified, and they have different profile, so I refine these peaks in
rawplot, using profile #3. Yet there are only 6 parameters refined, #5
is called <sig>. I don't know how this parameter is related with sig-2
in the profile.
Thanks a lot for your suggestions.

Sincerely,
Ling Yang
