Sent on behalf of Alejandro Rodriguez Navarro ( [EMAIL PROTECTED] ) ------------------------------------------------------------- XRD2DScan is a new software for processing 2D diffraction patterns of polycrystalline materials collected using area detectors (i.e., GADDS, SMART APEX BRUKER or SAPPHIRE OXFORD DIFFRACTION). It fills the need for processing data from powder samples measured using X-ray single crystal diffractometers that lacks the appropiate software. This software processed the 2D pattern and generated 2theta scans or Psi scans which contains important information about the mineral composition and microstructure (grain size, crystal orientation, ...) of the sample.
