Dear All,
I am trying to understand the warren averbach analysis, to determine size and
strain. To get the true profile from the broadened one, as is mentioned there,
we should have the profile from an annealed sample of the same material. So my
doubt is as following:
1) What if we use the profile from a standard like Lab6 or Si, and then do the
stokes correction and use this profile for further analysis.
2) It is also mentioned there that we have to have same step size for both the
standard and broad profile. However, if we cannot divide the profiles in the
same steps, due to, say very sharp standard profile peaks, then how do we
tackle this problem. Well it is written there to adjust the Fourier harmonics
to incorporate the step size changes, but I a bit confused with that issue.

Thank you in advance,

Sincerely,
Shrinivas.
