APPLICATION SPECIALIST X-RAY DIFFRACTION
Description:
We search for a dynamic and internationally oriented regional Application
Specialist X-ray Diffraction for the EMEA region (Europe, Middle East and
Africa), who supports PANalytical's sales organizations in EMEA with
application, technical and XRD product knowledge in order to optimize the
sales chances.
In this role the Application Specialist:
- Conducts demonstrations and carries out application feasibility studies
for prospects in the international demo lab in Almelo.
- Trains customers during training courses in Almelo.
- Performs customized training courses and establishes commissioning of
systems at customers on site.
- Probes the XRD market via intense customer contacts, visiting local
exhibitions and conferences and feeds observed market opportunities and
user requirements to product management for future developments.
- Contributes to PANalytical's product positioning and promotion and
uplifts company profile by writing scientific articles and creating
commercial materials.

Requirements:
The candidate:
- Has excellent communication skills and is a team player.
- Has commercial feeling and a customer orientation.
- Is fluent (speaking and writing) in English and preferably also in other
languages like German, French, Spanish and/or Italian.
- Likes frequent traveling.
Education:
A university degree and a solid background in the field of diffraction,
preferably specialized in Material Science, Mineralogy or Geology.
Experience:
Preferably experience with X-ray diffraction or related analytical
techniques.
