Hi David, > Could I make one request for your priority list? I thought I'd JIRA'd > it last year, but didn't find it so I created a new issue: RIFE-347. > A RIFE engine/framework level error trap would really make this next > project I am working on go a lot better. I.e., rather than the user > seeing a stack trace, being able to register an error handler to > record the > error and redirect the user to some safe/landing page would be very > helpful.
Yeah, it's high up on my list and I will hopefully even finish adding it this week. The way I'm implementing this is described here: http://uwyn.com/issues/browse/RIFE-89 I hope this is what you need. > and apropos of error traps, when I entered the request in JIRA > I got a tomcat error about not being able to create the view after I > hit "create" -- however it seems to have entered the new issue > anyway.. I've been having that too and not only on RIFE's Jira. I think it's an issue with Jira and Safari 3.
