No, I have no code done at all yet, I have mainly looked at how feasible it was with the Eclipse architecture. I have some work that needs to be done before the end of the year and I'm sick at the moment. I thus have a hard time concentrating. I'll only be able to start doing something from scratch in January.
If you want to work on it, I think that the "facilitate regular coding" section at http://rifers.org/wiki/display/RIFE/IdePlugins is the most important. I would start working there.
