Hi Legolas,
as Stephane says, people are just proposing to develop plugins for
the IDE they prefer. Let's not start an IDE flame-war here. Everybody
has his/her preference and has probably tried out others as well.
Myself I regularly force myself in using Eclipse, Netbeans or IDEA
for a week or so but I always come back to X-develop.
I like the Netbeans graph library though, I might look into that for
a visual site-structure editor, however the netbeans.org graph
mailinglist is broken and I can't get any answers to the questions I
have.
I know some RIFE users are developing with Netbeans but they don't
seem to find that there's a need for a plugin (I think this was
discussed on IRC or on this list).
Best regards,
Geert

Hi
I saw that there are some plugins in the way of development.
but the wonderful thing is that there no name on Netbeans
meanwhile it
is almost best open-source IDE for developing j2ee applications.
just look at its version 5 , then you will add Netbeans name under
names
of other IDEs in plugin page
The names currently listed are there because someone has proposed to
work on it. It would be great to have a NetBeans plugin, of course!
Please go ahead, edit the page and add yourself as an interested party
to implement the NetBeans plugin.
Thanks,
Steph
