Thanks for the example, it's a subtle change, but I believe it's worth
the break in backward compatibility. I also think it better to make such
breaks early rather than late - less developers will need to change
code.

So on this issue, I vote 'break with the past'. Now, if only I could get
Sun to do the same with Mustang!
