I find that I'd like to write my own implementation of com.uwyn.rife.authentication.CredentialsManager, so that I can decide at runtime what source(s) to use for authentication info.
The CM interface couldn't be simpler, but obviously it is necessary to assign a unique << (long) userid >> to every username. This mapping between usernames and userid's does not need to be consistent _between_ application sessions, only _within_ an application session, yes ?
