Hi Tyler,

I'm very excited that you plan on writing some articles. I've been meaning to do so for a long time, but never found the time to do so.

I see two different types of articles that are needed:
* "How do I start with the RIFE thing, what do I need to know?"
* "Why should I care about this RIFE thing, what is cool?"

For the first one, I quite liked the articled on JavaLobby about Wicket:
http://www.javalobby.org/java/forums/t60786.html

What I like about it is that the articles are quite short and can quickly be read and understood. They are really targeted at newbies. Also, they follow in a fast pace, which means that if you're interested in what you read in the previous article, a couple of days later you'll get a follow-up. This is needed to keep the attention going.

The second one could focus on some cool use-cases, like the dynamic image generation and caching you did, embedded element, behavioral inheritance (three-dimensional flows), continuations, ...

Looking forward to reading your drafts!

Best regards,

Geert

Hello all,

I'm planning to start a series to help users get aquainted with
RIFE. I'm seeking submissions for topics to explore in the series. If
you could provide me with areas you found/find confussing, wish had
more discussion, something you want to see explored, etc. please
respond to this . I'll do my best to explore as many topics as
possible, including some theory (why RIFE does it this why,
advantages/disadvantages), code samples, and application to real world
usage.

Thank you in advance,
  Tyler Pitchford
