Hi Stefan,
I'm currently stuck, probably because I'm approaching the limits of
what is possible with RIFE/Crud.
By now, I can pretty quickly create Beans for CRUD and customize
them and everything, but one of the proof-of-concepts that I need
to do in order for RIFE to be considered as an alternative for my
company's upcoming software project is the following:
" - A [the site administrator] needs to be able to configure the
number and type of props for products."
Just wondering, why do the bean properties have to be dynamic? Can't
you just create an association bean for the product properties and
handle those in a separate table? Then everything will be handled for
you automatically.
(props is just a crazy word for fields ;)
So, I need to have a flexible bean definition that can be changed
via the admin interface. Any ideas how that could be realized?
The decision will be made on May 1st, so I need to get this done
quickly. Hopefully someone can point me to the right direction?
Another thing is: Where can I get more information about UWYN
offerings concerning RIFE support? I should include that in my
presentation.
You can mail me privately about this.
Best regards,
Geert
