Hi Jeremy,
it is still up-to-date, it's not deprecated. However, it was written
a long time ago. The information is still correct, it is maybe not
the easiest or the best way to do things. Authentication has remained
unchanged though, so if it's lacking, it's probably in terms of
completeness.
Feel free to add more information there.
Best regards,
Geert

Hey all,
Thanks for the help. I do wonder if you can tell me if the
users guide's authentication stuff is still up to date? I hear
that it is deprecated. What would I expect to need to do that
isn't in the users guide? I don't recall much about the Java side
of the authentication stuff in the documentation. I think I can
take both emails and get something working but I would hate to hack
things together for a production tool without understanding
really. If you guys have more to provide, I'm here.
Take care,
Jeremy
