After talking with Geert, I am pondering the idea of getting rid of Hibernate for my persistence layer and using RIFE instead. Has anyone done this before that can give me some insight? Right now, I have an application that has a single User class mapped to a USER table and a UserDao object to interact with the USER table. I can provide code if necessary.
