Hi Eddy,

inbean and outbean function in a similar way as submission bean. They will analyze the bean's properties and create individual inputs / outputs for each bean automatically. If you however want to serialize / deserialize an object, you can use on input / output and use setOutput() / getInputSerializable().

Hope this helps.

Best regards,

Geert

PS.: I'm currently thinking about adding something new to keep temporary shared state on the server in the session (instead of putting it in the session). A bit like Seam's conversational state. If you have any ideas for this, please share :-)

Hi,

I've been very busy lately, so there have been very few posts from me.

I started looking at using <inbean/> and <outbean/> to pass more information from one element to another. Unfortunately, there is not much information as to how to use it properly on the Wiki.

Can anyone help please?

Thanks,

Eddy
