One other question about the unit tests. When I first ran "ant test" I
get tons of failures, many of them due to the fact that I'm not running
Oracle or MySQL. I looked at the test suite a bit and it seems like the
thng to do is just comment out the offending datasources in
programs/unittests/config/rep/unittests_datasources.xml. Is that the
right approach? It seems to work okay, but maybe there's a different
official way to do it.

your environment by customizing one of the config files here:
programs/unittests/config/rep/config-* (use the one of the platform
that you're using).
RIFE_HOME should be the only one you should have to change.
