Yes, I think it would be a nice idea, allthough this would only work where the site strukture is defined.
For insatnce in "sites/my-site.xml"

Well, this would actually be added on the lowest level of the declaration, the SiteBuilder class. This means that anything that uses the RIFE web engine would get that feature. For the XML declaration and the annotations, the syntax just has to be updated to relay the attribute to the underlying site builder.

Another idea in the same area would be to generate a warning at runtime if an element defines an output, but does not set the output value in the code. It might be next next to impossible to implement, but it _would_ be a nice feature.

Well, it can check that when the element finished executing, but not before. It might be a good candidate for an IDE feature though in case one of them starts supporting RIFE.
