Thanks Geert,
as a matter of fact, I am using some customized templates. Forgot about
that. Is it sufficient to put them in somewhere in the classpath ?
Thanks

Well, I have the rife-crud-1.3-templates.jar in my .war file.

That one contains the html source templates, no ?
It does, are you sure that the jar is in your war file?
Have you used some custom templates for the crud pages?
Is the error message more elaborate, can I see the full stack trace?

Hi Henk,
you have to include the CRUD replacement templates in the source
form, you can't precompile them. This is because RIFE/Crud transforms
the templates on the fly from the sources.
Hope this helps,
Geert

Hi,
I am finalizing my app which works great with the provided 'war' ant
target.
Everything works nicely except for the few Rife:crud pages I have.
I get the error :
" *Couldn't find template
'YmUubWFyc21hbl9pdC5tb2IubW9kZWwuT3JnYW5pc2F0aW9u__crud__crud.admin.browse'."
What can this be ? I am using version 1.6 and crud 1.3.
Another thing : in my element class, when loading a template with
getHtmlTemplate, the name of the template is not case sensitive. When
precompiling however, this becomes important. Just wanted to let
you know.
Thanks
Henk
