Hi Eddy,
actually you never had to. Calling processEmbeddedElement() is only
needed when you want to have tight control over when the embedding
happens. However with the embedded element priorities (http://
rifers.org/wiki/display/RIFE/Embedded+element+priorities) that's now
even rarely needed.
