This hasn't changed since 1.5 and is simply a problem with the docs
it seems. It's normal that is clears the remember me cookie at
logout, since otherwise it would automatically log in at the next
request even when the authentication cookie is cleared. Mind updating
the wiki?

to the logout element seems to fix it... which seems to be
contrary to
the docs at http://tinyurl.com/29ujkc
This is using a 1.6 snapshot. Did the behavior change between 1.5
and now?
