IIRC, ring accounts do not have passwords - only if create a nickname,
that will require a password - DO NOT FORGET THAT PASSWORD EVER - it is
indelible and un-recoverable
Ring accounts without usernames can still have a password, just as a
Ring account with a username can have no password. In the gnome client,
you can add a password in the account settings page by clicking on "no
password set".
