Hi, The Dec 3 client couldn't be started from the gnome search box, it could be started from the terminal but calls didn't work. It was possible to launch the Dec 10 client from the search box, but calls still would not connect. Now, with the Dec 11, 12 and 16 client versions, a video call freezes very shortly into it- usually less than a minute if not 30s. This used to be the case in the past when I set Ring to use the VP8 decoder. Doing this now, I still got a frozen video frame. An audio call lasted just a short while longer- between 2 and 3 minutes. I install manually as I only have the official Debian repos enabled. It's a 64 bit computer with an AMD processor. The sanitized log sections which I thought are relevant are posted below. Sometimes the 'reallocation error: abort: success' message would also be present.
