If you have the time to make a package on a weekly basis this would be superb! I didn't check out the ring client so far. Is SIP already supported (this is the most important feature for me)? If yes, I will compile it from sources till you have the time to make a ppa. I'll try my best to support your work by betatesting or something like that in the future.
