Hi,
I've tested on a couple of machines and I seem to get the same behaviour as
you, so we'll log this as a bug in Ring.

Thanks,

Subject: [Ring] Pulseaudio, selection of ring, input and output devices.

Hello,

I've just been trying out Ring (nightly build, v0.4.0 - c1ae2f7ed5) on a
laptop running Ubuntu 14.04.

I've noticed a behaviour in the audio settings which I believe may be a bug.

On the audio settings page I have selected Pulse Audio as Audio manager.

I wish to use a Plantronics C610 USB headset as my Input and Output
device, but have ringtone via the built in Audio of the laptop.

I set output and input device to Plantronics C610 Analogue Mono, with
ringtone device as Built-in Audio Analogue Stereo.

However, this does not work as expected, with both the ringtone and call
audio output emerging from the built in loudspeakers of the laptop.

If I select the Plantronics headset as ringtone device, then ringtone
and call audio output comes through the headset.

Neil
