Hi,
For anyone using the GNOME interface of Ring, you may have noticed when making
video calls it can occasionally crash with an error that looks like this:

(gnome-ring:3430): Gdk-ERROR **: The program 'gnome-ring' received an X Window
System error.
This probably reflects a bug in the program.
The error was 'GLXBadDrawable'.
...

We haven't been able to track down the issue as something related to any Ring
code yet. In fact, the backtrace only enters into gtk -> clutter -> cogl ->
openGL (mesa?) code. So I suspect that this is more likely a driver related
issue.

If you get this crash, could you please check which openGL driver version your
system is using and report back to us (you can simply reply to this email).

One way of doing this is with the 'glxinfo' command which, on Ubuntu, is part
of the 'mesa-utils' package:

glxinfo | grep "OpenGL version"

I'm hoping to be able to track this down to only one driver (as of now I've
only seen it happen on mesa) and possibly to a specific version.

Thanks,
-stepan
