I dropped my 300 on a cement floor last summer, and took it apart to see
if I could fix it. Turned out the battery contact had just gotten pushed
out of its normal locaction, and reseating it fixed te unit.
The guts of the Rio are basically two tiny circuit boards with a couple
of custom chips doing everything. I didn't see anything that could be
reused in other projects.
